During my recent stay at Hotel Restaurante La Alhama, I was delighted to discover a tranquil retreat amidst the charm of Medina de Pomar. The gardens, brimming with delightful aviary birds and a serene pond, provided an enchanting backdrop for relaxation after our long motorcycle ride. Our room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and equipped with a very comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. Dining here was truly a highlight; the evening meal showcased an impressive array of creative Cantabrian cuisine that truly captivated my palate. Fluffy churros for breakfast, served with a side of friendly smiles from the staff, set a warm tone for our day. The easy access to the old town and a picturesque walk along the river made it a perfect setting for exploring with friends. If you're seeking a peaceful escape combined with superb culinary experiences, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Restaurante La Alhama.
